mouse button indicators tied to the keymap are now in. You can see the commands that will be called by each mouse button at each time:
No indicators for double click yet, or for any modifiers, but it is really nice to inform the user what they should expect in each mode.

I’m uncertain about the need to have a status bar to display such info, but that’s actually really nice. Feels elegant and useful.
I feel similarly. It’s very well executed and robust. It may even help ease the transition to rmb select for new users, by having a steady visual reminder.
