how do i move an object to another scene?

Do you mean to a scene in a different blend file or within the same one?
If it’s for a different file:
Open the file you want to import your object to and hit Shift+F1 or go to the File menu and select “Append or Link”.
I don’t know what you want to do exactly, but you’ll probably be better off appending the file instead of linking it this time.
If you mean within the same blend file:
Ctrl+L and select “To scene”. This will link the object to both scenes, not move though…

i did what you said. (same blend)
but i couldnt see the object???
Have you checked that the layer the object is in is active? I’ve just tried it and since the object was in the first layer of the bottom row and the new scene only had first top row layer active the object was hidden.

After Ctrl L you can do U to make single user in scene
