Movie troubles with ED

Hey I’ve been having trouble trying to play Elephants Dream on my computer. I’ve tried totem and VLC but it doesn’t work. Totem crashes while VLC just refuses to play the video after three seconds but keeps playing the audio. Is there some way I can speed up this movie or get it working?
Cause It really sucks not being able to watch ED.

You need to download a mpeg-4 directshow filter. I can’t really recommend any, so google it.

looks like you are on linux cause of totem, what i suggest is to use another player like mplayer which is a pretty decent one.
