Hi All,
I need to move an object from it’s current location back to the scenes centre.
Is there a keyboard shortcut or a script of something to move an object back to the scene centre?
Regards.

You can press:
Ctrl C to get the cursor to get the curson to the center.
Then select your mesh(If you havent already)Go to the Editing buttons (F9)
Click Center Cursor.
Good luck!
Or Alt-G in Object mode.

hmm i think you can do
shift + s
and select
selection>center
wert613,
I tried that, but it did not move the object to center.
The only time I see that doing something is in edit mode. It changes the object to a center point? or something?
Hi,
Shift-S should give you the snap/grid submenu in edit as well as in object mode. If your cursor is already at the origin, “Selection -> Cursor” will center your selection.
(If you do this in edit mode with several vertices selected, then yes, they will collapse…)

I just joined blender, I am old school (Lightwave user), select the mesh in edit mode, press “n” and in the new panel that pops on your right, on Transform: Median, put values of 0 on x,y and Z
