multiple bevel objects for curves?

How do i add for example , the star as the first shape , and then the square at the end ? and so on ?

You can’t, only one BevOb per Curve. You can convert what you have (Curve) to a Mesh (Alt-C) and model the square sections by hand though.

You don’t. I believe you need engineering software for that kind of thing.

Or, you could just duplicate the curve

what a shame , it is posible in 3max.

As Morio said, duplicate the curve and parent them together, and use the different bevob for each. For example if you want the star at one end, duplicate the curve and offset it along the path of the other curve (you can make curves follow other curves). shorten the first curve and taper it at the end. Assign the star to the second curve. render and enjoy. Where the first curve tapers down to inside the second the two surfaces will merge.

this makes it possible in Blender. no shame in that!

Well yes it is possible in 3DMax but then again 3DMax has a pretty good set of NURBS tools you can work with and it started out that way (Max was developed before the use of subdivisonal surfaces was wide spread). What you are wanting to do is called “lofting” . And if and when Blender gets a decent NURBS implementation you will even be able to fork out into different branches and make them have any shape you want . But until then try learning mesh modeling techniques that will give you the results you want or even work with the NURBS surfaces currently available in Blender (though I just played around with it just now and it seems even buggier then I remember in 2.42a) .
