Mushroom character (Zbrush sculpting)

Created after following the amazing course called the “Ultimate Zbrush Guide”
However, I did made my own twists to the creation

:warning: !Notice that most of the creation was done using Zbrush, however, a few things were done in Blender :

  • A few of the objects on the character (most of them are hidden by the camera angle)
  • Part of the texturing. As Zbrush wasn’t convenient for me with the texturing, I did a good lot of the parts with blender
  • The entire lighting. Again Blender was far easier and convenient to do the job
  • The rendering / composition / post-processing

Finally I’ve gone over to Affinity photo for some more tweaking in post, including adding in 2d the magic-yellow-thing

I’m aware this is maybe inappropriate to post this here, but I really wanted to show that Blender is far better for lighting !!!… hrm hrm…

This is super cool, I really like your style  while it’s not the focal point, I’m especially impressed by the staff, you’ve got the details sculpted on that perfectly! Nice work all around!

Very nice character and render.
My only ‘complain’ are that such good character deserve better background, ground plane is literally cut with dark background, fog which you probably add in post don’t blend ground enough . Also you have ‘hallo’ around character, probably alpha issue. You can try to trace edges of character with smudge or blur brush ( small size and strength ), this will blur white edges and remove pixelated edges.

Yeah, I understand what you mean, but my main goal was to present the character, as if it was a pre-concept for a video-game or something like that. So I didn’t want anything fancy that could distract the viewer.

Yup, I’ve noticed that after a little while, but I’m too lazy to fix that and re-upload the image everywhere I’ve already posted it.
