My first 3d animation (bouncing ball without stretch and squash)

Hi all!!
I have been studying 2-d animation from quite some time since its a part of syllabus, however its not my cup of tea. So, finally i’ve decided to start animating in blender 3d.

Here is what i achieved after understanding the basics of inserting keyframes and editing IPO curves.

and here is a screenshot of the IPO curve:

Comments are welcome. Please suggest ways of improving the smoothness of curves etc. I will work on the stretch and squash tomorrow (and see how that works in blender compared to drawing on a sheet).

I also feel the video i rendered does not look smooth enough (it may be my LCD since i rendered the video at 30fps). Please suggest ways of improving it.

Thanks. More updates coming tomorrow!
