My material tests

Hi! I’m trying to make realistic procedural iron material.
This is quite old work, first one uses Principled shader and the second one uses BlenderGuru’s PBR Metal node tree/

Which one is better in your opinion

or the old one

The second is closer to my memory of such an item. That said the first could match a stronger direct lighting but I’ve not observed such a scene. Refer to your refs.

The light setup are the same. 3 area and HDRi.

Maybe I need to adjust spec levels of Principled shader.
