My PC restarted itself for absolutely no reason…It had a few hundred more samples to go and I was rendering for about maybe 3 hours and it was nearly finished. I was zooming in and out of the render to check out the quality and all of a sudden my screen went black and restarted. I didn’t have any windows updates available. If I did, I would be the one to decide whether to update or just skip and shutdown.
Just thought I’d bring this up as this never ever happened to me before.
- Rendering a 4K image with cycles, running Windows 10 i9 core with Nvidia GPU.
I don’t know if this will happen again but, I will need to start my rendering again.
