Guys I finally released my short film that I made with blender!! Music is also produced by me!

Thank you for sharing!
I have to say I do like the thoughts, but those hands were a bit disturbing but I got used to it. The Interior scenes with piano were great, but the water close-ups a bit ruined the atmosphere. The hands touching the water were a bit fake as it looks like they do not interact with water (maybe it was an intention, but as hands were touching piano properly I am not sure) Otherwise voiceover was very pleasing and also concept so I am looking forward to see more of your works! Keep it up!
thank you I was actually trying to finish the project really fast since the deadline was coming and I need to graduate hahah so I see what you mean and I agree totally. If I had time I could’ve done better but at least I am happy i finished it ![]()

I like your movie, and I applaud the obvious effort that you put into this. This is really beautiful in many many ways. ![]()
Because these projects are always journeys of learning, I hope you will allow me to offer a few humble suggestions - not to diminish your work here, but because I hope to see more beautiful future projects from you. ![]()
Hands: “Uncanny Valley” is your main opponent here. If you can’t move closer to “realism”, then pull back to impressionism or caricature. The “chopped off” arm ends are viscerally disturbing. I would recommend trying rounding the hand off completely where the wrist would start. Try modeling them as you might mold clay with no attempt at arm.
Alternatively: Cover the “stump-ends” with crisp white-linen shirt-cuffs and cloth to cover where we might expect to see severed bones and blood-vessels. Help us to simply not imagine what that little bit of cloth might hide.
Even better might be “Mickey Mouse White Gloves”. These can float around disembodied all day long, and no one will think about Uncanny Valley.

Even though you have disembodied hands floating in the air, I think it would really help the animation if the rigging invisibly contained at least the forearms, so that the hands’ motions described arcs from the elbow-pivot-point, rather than just moving by linear motions. … when playing the piano, the left-hand is gliding back and forth by pure linear motion. I think it might look better if it moved left/right by arcing up then down. Depending on intended sound intensity, the finger-key-presses are very often helped by the whole hand pivoting up/down at the wrist, or even at the elbow for loudest playing.
Convincing Water is really hard… I can’t offer much, except to suggest using the Wave modifier to generate circular ripples radiating outward from each finger that breaks the water surface.
All the rest of your “nature” scenes and vegetation I found to be lovely and touching, and beyond reproach.
The narration was pleasantly voiced, appropriately timed, and thought provoking.
I really enjoyed the piano music… this is exactly the kind of piano music I enjoy most.
The intros and outros and text-overlays were well done, and bespeak high production values.
Time, deadlines, learning, and trying to graduate… such are but a few of life’s hazards. This is overall a wonderful effort, and you made my evening by sharing this with us. Thank you. ![]()
I look forward to seeing more of your work in the future!! ![]()
Thank you so much! I am new in blender so I tried my best but I see your point and I am aware of it too I will try to get better by learning from my mistakes

Have a great weekend!
You’re on the featured row! ![]()
Very well done. I think it’s often forgotten that you will never “be happy” for very long. It comes and goes. You have to work at it and often there are surprises both good and bad. Often it’s the little things we remember with the most happiness.
As far as animation, technical things don’t matter as much as the story told.
I am happy that I touch your heart somehow. Thank you for sharing your mind with me. Have a great week! ![]()
