Myrrai is one of the main characters of a fantasy world I’ve been developing and obsessing over in my free time, and the first full character I’ve made in a few years. Using the new skills and software knowledge I developed while making mods for games, I was excited to finally try my hand at making original characters again.
The last few years have been a roller-coaster for me, with an exhausting series of downs. Working on this project and getting suggestions from friends has really kept me sane lol.
About Myrrai:
Myrraissa’ahuakoia is a young plant lady who, growing up, was once seen as a role model for her own people due to her magical talents and physical prowess. However, due to a mix of poor treatment from others and her own series of bad behavior, she was eventually made an outcast. Now she finds herself in the company of humans who accept her as one of their own, yet she still never feels like she truly belongs.
She cares deeply about her community, and will often seek out people who need help or just need company. And although she still holds a grudge toward those who cast her out, she always rushes to their aid whenever she finds them in trouble.
Blocking, modeling, retopology, UVs, and rigging done in Blender. Sculpted in Zbrush and textured in Substance Painter. Rendered in Eevee.
