Looks awesome! his spear looks too fake to me though, compared to him…
And his facial hair seems… well…hmm…too thin I guess? I mean like the hairs are not thick enough, not the amount of hair

Like Okiphia said the Hunter looks great, but the hair and spear let the pic down. Why is all the hair on his face and hand strait? Also, is that blood modeled or is that painted in post-pro?

The jaw to mouth area looks really odd, even for a neanderthal. The hair is a bit plain, shouldnt it be a bit messier?
The blood, yeah, looks pretty much like finger paint.
Other than that…not bad 
The paint on the spear was last minute that is why i painted it on. the rest is all blender
Free, I made the jaw look like that, if you ever have seen pics of what a neaderthal would look like they are all different from human looking to aboriganee looking to some looking very similar to an ape. Mine has the classic no chin, high cheek bones, and heavy set jaw and heavy forehead. I wanted a thin beard so he wouldn’t be completely covered.
here is a side view so you can see his features better . I removed the spear.

Model looks really great, no critic on it from me. Only thing I would change are particles and blood. The hair just looks too ‘blenderish’. Maybe make it thicker and a bit more random. Beard is fine imo, but the particles in his hand are quite long, and sticking out like he had had an electric shock. So maybe make them a bit shorter. If I would be you, I textured the blood to the spear, not only to the tip, but all over it.
And the most minor thing: Maybe you should turn on the ‘normal’ slider of his skin texture, because now it looks a bit like plastic from his nose.
Other than that it’s a really good picture in my opinion!
Are the hairs part of the head mesh or are they separate meshes?
And the hair is too strait…other than that its good
The corner of the jaw needs to come up and the front prtion of the mouth and chin needs to stick out more, and the lips need to not stick out as much.
