I have written 6 episodes of a short animated, adult comedy series (think BoJack Horseman) 5-6 minutes in length for each. I’ve recorded actor parts for all episodes and have sound designed 2 so far. I will finish the others in time for production to start.
- I need to hire a Blender artist/artists to animate (this includes all parts of the process). I’m new to the Blender community because of a talented, passionate friend!
- I am an individual. I work as a copywriter and used to write and perform sketch comedy in New York. This is a personal passion project that I’ve been thinking on for five years and finally want to push it over the finish line. I would like to submit it to festivals and if I don’t get any bites, I will be releasing it online eventually.
- I am looking for an artist who is talented and a great communicator. But the animation can be simple. Someone with a great grasp of English is necessary to get the comedic timing to land/line-up with the lines. please.
- The series takes place in a fish tank, with fish talking and living as humans do (jobs, relationships, funny situations, snarky language.) The backdrops are simple and I have descriptions of the settings in the script, with character descriptions that should help with character design (colors of the fish, their looks, their accessories (earrings, glasses, etc.) They do not wear clothes.
- I can send you all scripts and the episodes I’ve sound designed so far, which will the include the two main characters, a pair of married fish in their 40’s. The voices should also inform what you design the fish to look like.
- I don’t have a hard deadline, but I would love to finish this project over the next few months, if possible.
- You can check out my sketch comedy on my budget website, carissaleone.com
- Budget is negotiable and I honestly would love for you to tell me what you would like to get paid for such a lift. But I’m willing to pay in the four figures USD.
Thank you!
