Need: artist for import from Daz to Blender

p { margin-bottom: 0.08in; }a:link { } Very small startup looking for a freelancer that can help with a few imports from Daz to Blender:
We have a few Victoria morphs we would like to import into blender with:

  • functional rig (and a transition from modeling pose to a given pose)
  • hair
  • material and texture,
  • potentially some other props as well

We know there are tools out there but they require extra manual tweaking that is most likely to represent the bulk of the work.
The resulting product would be exclusively owned by our company (i.e. no sharing)
Compensation is negotiable (we would consider any reasonable offer). More than anything we are looking for somebody who can work independently and reasonably fast with quality results.
The project can be staged in individual small steps that can be signed off, delivered and payed off individually.
Potential for future collaborations: we have a number of small blender projects and it would be great to find somebody who can help on ongoing basis.
We can provide more information at [email protected]

Looking for 3D Artwork with Blender.

Thank you for responding – I have actually noticed your work before and it looks very good. Would you let me know how much you charge and also a time estimate. I would definitely prefer a per-project quote, and I am happy if you want to break it down into stages, or any other way that you see fit. As I mentioned in the post it is a few V4 morphs with hair and accessories, e.g. shoes or boots.
You can post your response here, or if you prefer then you can email me at [email protected]
Thanks again!

Curious. I’ve been importing character models from Daz 2 Blender for months now for character design and concept art purposes. What R we talking about here. Simple conversions or extensive modifications?

Simple conversions, but they do need a functional rig and a transition from modeling pose to a given pose – we have created them is Daz with the final pose, so they just need to transition from modeling pose to this final pose.
They do include hair, material and texture and some props such as shoes or boots.
