Need help. Have problem with merging objects.

Hi

I’m having trouble with merging two objects together without getting this weird edge where it merges. Does anyone know what i’m doing wrong?

Remove doubles (w), recalculate normals (Ctrl-n) and if that does not help - link to the file with offending part shared…
