need help to convent 3Ds Max to .blend

hi all,

ive made a model of a boat in 3Ds Max and now i want to import it into blender…

problem: i dont no how

is there anyway i can do it without even having 3Ds Max on my computer because i wont be able to use a computer with it on for a few months

can someone please tell me how to import models from 3Ds Max in blender or point me towards a good tutorial


.max format is proprietary so you won’t find any exporter.Thus the only way is to export it in .obj format and import it to Blender.

use wavefront .obj format like Mr Noodle wrote, its really the best choice
