I have finished the modeling in blender and I also added hair to the model. Then, I’m going to export it as alembic file to another software for compositing and rendering. While, hair dynamics have been cached. However, it took about 10 hours to export the alembic file, and the exported alembic file is very large which about hundreds of GB. That’s too much trouble. I want to know if there is a way to improve this situation in order to save time and hard disk space.
Is anybody else experiencing this issue and/or knows how to fix this? Thanks!
