Ok so I’ve searched on the internet for a solution but I don’t think anyone has given a detailed explanation. When baking an interior there was so much noise, and sometimes there’s like different colors of a texture here and there. What I did was download an example .blend file of a prison which was baked, and this prison had no windows and the samples were only at 200. Can anyone explain how to get less noise on a texture?
There are a lot of things that can effect how many samples a bake needs… The kind of lights, how large the windows are, number of bounces, the list goes on.
how many samples is too many? like is 10000 too much?
I think so, yeah, but other people may think that’s fine!
Thank you very much for your reply! I kinda solved my problem with an addon.
That is way to much unless you have a quadcore GPU or threadripper.
