Hi, I’m having a problem rendering. I’m using an AMD Radeon 640 and Radeon RX 550 series graphic cards. I can’t use these graphic cards for any rendering over Blender 2.93. I have an Optiplex 7090 computer tower and need better graphic cards. I have OpenCL in Blender for lower versions of graphics, but I want to use Blender 4.0 which I need HIP rendering. I don’t want to buy a graphics card that won’t work, so I appreciate if anyone can advise me of what Graphic card can I get that will work well with HIP so I can render. Please let me know if there’s something other than HIP that I can also use for Blender 3.0 and higher. Thank you.
To use blender 4.0 or later, you need a graphics card that supports OpenGL 4.3.
Some graphics cards that support OpenGL 4.3 may not be able to use blender 4.0 without driver support.
※ There are many Nvidia GPU users among blender users
