I am attempting to flow a fluid over a displaced surface in Blender 2.82. I tried different settings, but it didn’t help much:
• Initially I tried to insert the displaced plane (set to Effector) inside a cube (set to Domain), but the fluid passed it.
• Then I tried to extrude the plane vertically, in order to create a box and set it to Domain. Again the fluid passes through. Can anyone help me?!
in order for the fluid simulation to register 2d objects, you need to up their surface thickness (available in the fluid effector settings)
