Can someone help me with the snow shader I’m working on? It’s based on the BlenderGuru snow material and uses the trick of plugging a voronoi texture into the normal of a glossy BSDF and then adding that to the main snow shader to get the little sparkles/glints.
The problem is that the add shader messes up the normals and basically makes the whole material glossy. Here’s the before and after adding the sparkles:
What I’m going for is this render, which uses a similar scene/lighting and the same Blenderguru shader and it looks great, so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any help would be much appreciated!
