Need help with texture / camera setting

Hi all,

I’m new to Blender and need help figuring this one out.

I applied a texture and it works fine when I’m close to it but once I zoom out, it has some sort of clipping or antialiasing. I’m assuming its a camera setting and I looked around for answers but I just can’t find anything or figure it out. It’s just the default perspective camera in the 3D viewport. Hoping someone on here can help.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to BA  what’s your GPU? Have you tried updating your GPU driver?

Hi kirinma,
that looks like Z-fighting to me. It’s also visible on the left bench. Do you have some overlapping geometry there? Like overlapping faces or objects?

I haven’t check that but I will take a look. Thanks.

Yeah, maybe. I’ll double check that too in a bit. But it’s actually happening to all of the assets as I continue to zoom out. Thanks.

I think it might just be an issue of the clipping distances not being sufficient?

That’s what I thought as well. Where do I go check or make changes for the default camera that I’m using in the 3d view port. I just checked and it does seem that this is not happening to my 2 other cameras that I created.

So I clicked around and found that when I turned on Backface Culling, it “fixes” this issue.

It kinda explains a part of the issue but I’m still a bit confused. I appreciate all the help from the community though.
