Need some suggestions and help (Art Studio WIP)

Hello guys! I need some sort of help. I’m making an art studio diorama, but I feel like it has a lot of empty space around the room. Can you suggest how can I improve it or what needs to be changed or replaced?
Thanks!

I think it is good as it is. You can work on materials now

But I feel like it miss something…like maybe a curtain or one more shelf or a few plants here and there. Or maybe I just overthink it and I really need to work on materials.
I’ll see. Thanks anyway :slightly_smiling_face: :+1:t2:!

Do your material work first, maybe then you will see what could be missing.

Ok, I will try to put some materials on and I’ll see.
Thanks again

Yes, maybe you could add a curtain, but …” Be careful of “analysis paralysis.”

You’ve certainly right now got a bunch of very imaginative details filling your little cube, so it’s time to move on to explore the next steps. Materials first, then maybe lighting. Working with what you have.

After all, you can always loop back later to add other details, after the “first round.” It’s an iterative creative process. (Be sure to save each of your “stages” along the journey …)

I think you have a good basis, I think it’s not necessarily about taking more space, but rather creates some cluster of details ( in yellow) . You don’t need to fill everything up, as having areas of rest with less details is going to be beneficial.

Naturally we tend to have empty spaces and objects that tend to accumulate in some areas.

Also, the only thing that might be considered is that area in blue, where things are hard to read… maybe you can remove that center part altogether and find another way to fill bits of that space !

Wow, thanks for such detailed answer .
I always thought that less empty space is better, because I have references of some art studios and there are a lot of small little details and things, and I thought to add them…but I guess I overthink it.
Still, I’ll make some improvements and start adding materials.

I think it looks good in the current state, I would suggest adding materials and lighting now. After that you can assess if it feels like there is something thrt needs changing or adding.

Well, it depends if you want to make a very dense environment filled with objects and details , or a more zen and minimalist environment, probably both style can work as an art studio.
What I was referring to is more a general composition rule, where you want to mix areas of details and areas where the eye can rest. Uniformly filling everything is going to make the image less pleasing to look at and harder to visually digest.
By making clusters of details you can give a crowded feeling , without sacrificing this rule.
