I am a VERY new user and I need any help to install the software.
I have downloaded the zip folder and the installer file - now what? should I copy the folder somewhere?
I tried to run the installation file and it didnt find all the dll files which appear to be in the folder.
PLEASE HELP
if you’re on widows, you can just run the installer file.
the zip file is just if you can’t run installer files for some reason.
EDIT: you can just extract the zip file and run blender.exe,
you might need to download this: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=32BC1BEE-A3F9-4C13-9C99-220B62A191EE&displaylang=en
to get the right dll’s for it to run.
