Neoclassical Architecture- WIP

I’m planning, at some point, to model my architectural designs. However, I’ve learned (the hard way) that taking on ambitious projects like those often ends in failure. So, as a preparation of sorts, I’ve decided to model the Casino Marnino in Dublin, Ireland. It’s a pretty small and compact building, so it shouldn’t take too long, but I’m making sure that I follow the rules and proportions of classical architecture. Anyways, this was after about 1.5 hours of work.

very good, congrats. Are you going to texture it?

looking great so far! The attention to detail you’ve put in will really pay off once you do the final render

Looking good do far.

Good luck with that statement, it’s bound to turn round and bite you in the ass.

Thanks! I’m planning on texturing it, but I have a ways to go before its at that stage. This is what I need to finish modeling:

wooow this is impressive!

Haven’t had much time recently because of highschool and SAT’s, but today I had an extra 30 minutes so I spent it on this. I added walls, trim and molding, and a coffered ceiling. I’ve also done improvements that you can’t see-- the collums, the archichrace, and the details are all watertight, meaning that they are closed and can be printed in 3D. Keeping my options open, ya know? Hopefully I’ll finish more this weekend.
