Hey everyone, the time for a new CG Boost Challenge has come!
The topic: Urban Monsters!
Starting today, Thursday 20th of March, you have five weeks to sculpt a monster from the concrete jungle and submit video cinematic shots showcasing the full creature and a few closeups.
You can go wild with your sculpture ideas:
- Cute hardworking monsters taking care of the city
- Quirky inhabitants
- Giant skyscraper high behemoths
- Creepy creatures living in the city shadows
- Anything urban and monster themed…
The main focus lies on creating a nicely sculpted static monster, presented with cinematic lighting and camera motion. Materials, Textures and environments are optional.
Once the challenge is complete, we’ll compile the best and most-unique sculptures into an exciting Urban Monsters Montage Video, which we’ll publish on the CG Boost YouTube channel.
Challenge deadline is April 10th at 16:00 CET.
