New Character and AO

Just made a couple random tests with AO using my little test dude. I like his look. He’s quite simple, but has a nice range of motion. I don’t know what happened on the second one. There seems to be some nasty artifacts due to the AO (?) on the second to last one.
Oh, well! here they are!

looks like his left knee is bending the wrong way, in both pictures.

I was trying to create the appearance of a swinging motion.

That’s a perfectly acceptable deformation. Looks good.
