Works super awesome on our 9 x 48 thread machines. I have some questions :slight_smile:

We have about 26 GPUs at the moment, and would like to use the distributed feature with this.

  1. Overall, will the distributed feature come to the next official blender releases, or nightlies in near future?
  2. Is there a viewport rendering support with dirstributed already in testing?
  3. Will GPUs profit from the adaptive sampling in the future?

Next official is pretty likely since that’ll be 2.8 which will not be out for quite a while, but “near future” is pretty unlikely since there’s still a lot missing :frowning:

I’ve heard that there’s issues with viewport rendering with multiple nodes, I’ll look into that soon.

I really dislike the approach that’s used for adaptive sampling here, but regardless of the actual adaptive method that’s used, it will support GPUs if it ends up in master.

How to setup with local network, I tried with default blender network rendering but it is not worked , can some one
please explain me , thank you !
