New Pipeline: Auto Hair Rigging & Dynamics via GroomForge & Wiggle2

Hi everyone,

I’d like to share a quick tech demo of a new workflow pipeline utilizing GroomForge Pro and Wiggle2 for high-performance hair simulation.

By auto-generating rigs directly from hair curve guides and binding them to the tube mesh, this approach eliminates the traditional, time-consuming manual bone rigging process entirely.

Combined with Wiggle2’s physics, it achieves seamless, lightweight, and natural real-time hair dynamics.

Key Features Shown:

  • Setting target hair curves as animation guides
  • Auto-generating rigs via Rig Creator
  • Binding tube mesh with hair curves
  • Real-time physics evaluation

Hi guys,

I’m currently testing a new setup: generating rigs on hair edges using GroomForge PRO, and pairing it with Wiggle 2’s new Mesh Lattice Stabilizer for tighter, more stable simulations.

It feels way smoother and behaves nicely even with complex motion. What do you guys think? Any feedback or thoughts on this workflow?

(Note for 5.1.2 users: If the UI bugs out, just toggle Use Individual Limits on—Blender 5.1.2 has a weird API property lag issue).
