New Start on my Human Model

So, I was almost finished retopo-ing this head when I decided to refine the sculpt. Originally I was using photos of 3 different people for reference, and decided to settle on just one as I refine it. I think it has a lot more character now. Any crits would be appreciated. (edit) replaced 1st image with current one

(edit) this eye is going to be very tedious to make blinking actions for. if anybody has any ideas about that i’d be interested to hear them.
(edit) also, I just noticed that the forehead is to tall, so I will be fixing that.

I am making the mouth semi-open, with the intent of leaving the edges free, so that I can then model an open mouth with teeth on the retopod result. I am concerned though, about how well things will fit together when completely closed.

I fixed the crown / forehead, which was too tall…

well, I decided the general proportions were in need of adjustment, so I decimated it, did some drastic proportional editing on it, shaved some mass off here and there, so, back to refining it…will post once it’s in a more polished state.

Looking good so far!

thanks. here is the current shape…probably can’t tell much difference, but there are actually some fairly drastic adjustments to the overall form.

Hey Modron, long time no talk, hope you doing good.

Not a hellofalot wrong here, looking really good.

The only thing that I notice is that the eyes may be a tiny bit small and at the moment she looks like she is scowling.

Looking forward to updates.

Shaun

It looks like a pretty girl so nothing to point
But she looks mad , there’s something about the eyebrows / eyes … don’t know what exactly , sorry.

Thanks guys. Here is the latest progress.

Post a front and a side view, like to get a good look at the ears.

You need to get the lobe more round and also there is a definite separation as it meets the jawline. have a look at this pic.

some peoples lobes are not free hanging. originally it was free hanging, but I changed it to reflect my reference.
