Hello People. I didn’t find a “Welcome” thread, so I hope this is the right place for this. I just signed on here. Actually, I jsut found Blender and thought I would take a look at it. I currently been using GIMP, (Thats how I found blender, through a tutorial). I am a writer and a photographer and been looking for ways to do 3D modeling with out all the expensive software. Blender just maybe what I am looking for.
Anyway, I look forward to learning Blender and hope to be part of this community.
Having a free, light and easy to install 3D package is a great advantage but where the interface is challenging, the vast community more than makes up for it as it is helpful and very quick to respond to an SOS. So keep in mind that if you get in trouble then there is always help at hand.
