Adding a shape atop of another and trying to ‘merge’ them leaves me with — THAT.
I’m guessing it’s the double particles, but even deleting those leaves a weird interference and such that I can’t quite smoothen out (and which DEFINITELY shows on 3D printing).
I don’t know exactly what the problem is because I didn’t look at the file.
If you simply combine two objects, the two individual objects are overlaid.
It’s not a single mesh mass. Use Remesh Modifier to organize
Well… it seems you already remeshed the left part… so if you want to “combine” those you should use a so called boolean operations (in the first place?) and maybe even remesh again (with some lesser density ?).
I did indeed merge the files using Booleon, but I never heard about the remesh modifier, I’ll look up a few tutorials on that to see if it solves my problem, thank you both!
Hmm… then this is some bad topology… you might be better advised when almost deleting this sphere like part and simpley adding one and make the transition via simple sculpting ?
