Newbie: Limit Selection to Visible?

My tutorial says…“Also, make sure the “Limit Selection to Visible” button (bottom right icon of the 3D View header in Solid Mode) is not selected.”

I don’t know where go look. I see nothing labeled, Limit Selection to Visible.

What / where is my 3D View Header? I’m feeling really stupid. I’m feeling like I’m lookingt for my keys to the car on my desk and don’t see them but they’re staring right at me. LOL %|

Thanks for any help.

P.S. I’m using 2.41. I upgraded. Weeeee

It’s an icon with a cube in isometric (perspective) view in the header of the 3D window and only shows in Edit mode.

I have a bit later cvs build, it appears the cube only shows up when the view is shaded - z key

the oficial release is the same way, but more accurately it only shows up when NOT in wireframe mode or bounding box mode

Thanks man. That was correct and uit shoswed it’s self and my keys.
