Newbie - No installed Python found

Hi, newbie here

Installed ‘blender-2.37a-windows’ n later ‘python-2.4.2’.
Why am i receiving tis message everytime i start blender? :

Using Python version 2.3
‘import site’ failed; use -v for traceback
No installed Python found.
Only built-in modules … . … may not run.
Continuing happily.

Any advice?

Because it needs py 2.3.x
