[Newbie] Warp and Bump mapping do not seem to do anything ?

Open the file, go to the textures.
There is a cloud texture, Influence = Normals.
This creates a bump map effect, which I need. Thats fine so far.

BUT, the Warp below does not seem to do anything (click to enable, mess around
with its value, press F12, nothing changes in the render).

Also, nothing changes. if you mess with the “Bump mapping”
options that are a little below.

So what is the problem ?

I am experimenting with bump mapping because I will definitely need it in a
project I am making. So thanks in advance for any help,

Dimitris

It wouldn’t since you only have one texture.

Warp allows textures to influence/distort the texture coordinates of a next texture channel. The distortion remains active over all subsequent channels, until a new Warp has been set. Setting the factor at zero cancels out the effect.
