You mean because of rounded tail lights topology?
Yeah it’s a bit crooked, but there is a nice trick to fix it if you want to spend a lil more time on this project.
Just create the main block without holes and details
Duplicate it.
Use the shrinkwrap modifier on the one where you’re going to carve the details, using as a target the one without details.
Move the one without details in another layer and forget about it.
Carve the holes and details in the one you need then for inner extrusion just use vertex groups, excluding the extrusions’ vertices from the group and reference the vertex group in the shrinkwrap modifier to tell what vertices must be shrinkwrapped and what not.
Game over.
