No texture update in 3d View with uv texture animation

Hi,

I’m trying to animate some textures, but the 3d view doesn’t update automatically. I’ve tried animating movie textures, images sequence textures and uv offsets, but the 3d view won’t respond to any of these.

I really need this to work, because rendering every time I need to check the animation is painful.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Sorry, no solution but a confirmation. I played with texture offsets in Cycles. Things worked while I was setting the keyframes in the Node Editor. I could see the changes in the viewport set to display materials. But that’s all. The offset wasn’t visible any more when I played the animation, only when I rendered.

And Ningu is right, this is painful.
