I have made a new Particle Output node for Animation Nodes (AN blender2.8) for blender 2.8. Based on this node I have made a Node Based Particles System JUGAAD which allows controlling the particles with AN nodes. Right now due to some limitations of blender 2.8 particle system, the particle simulated with this node only works in rendering if they are cached bake. I have provided an addon which allows you cached bake the particles. For viewport, you DO NOT need to bake the particles.
