Normal Map not Baking

I’m trying to bake a normal map for a shield I made, but it just doesn’t seem to want to work at all. It bakes a completely blank normal map with no detail! I was working procedurally and made my diffuse and roughness maps, then baked them successfully, but the normals just don’t want to.


Here is my node tree, I’ve tried only using one of the bump nodes to bake but that didn’t work either, so I assume the mix node isn’t messing things up for me.

As you can see the normals are clearly working in this render, so I’m not sure what steps to take at this point.

plug anything you want displaced into the displace node of the output node. it will bake your normals just fine.
