Not Rendering Inverted Vertices Inside Out

So, I’m new to blender and I’m having trouble with rendering. I wanna render an inside out sphere, so I’ve flipped the vertices with ctrl + n. Yet whenever I render it, it’s rendered as a non-flipped normal sphere. Is there a setting I need to switch for it to render properly? I was gonna attach images but since I’m new I can only do one.
