l’m looking at buying a new laptop,the only problem is it has a nvidia GT540m card with optimus switching.
Does anyone here no if it works with Blender?
Yes it will work with blender quite well actually. Optimus simply means that it will switch to another integrated graphics card when you don’t need the GT450m must likely it will switch to an Intel chipset I suggest just turning optimus off otherwise you may see some lag while using blender because of the chipsets switching. Optimus is only there to help with power management.
