According to Nvidia tests of GeForce RTX 2080 have 13% boost in Cycles:
Hm, interesting. Let’s hope we will also see some development on the Linux drivers.
Thanks for sharing.
Good news!
The article says it works for Pascal cards too from what I can tell (gtx 1080 for example)
Will test as soon as I can

A-MA-ZING
happy to see that the RTX’s cards get and will get some love in the future !
can’t wait to see cycles burn my 2080ti to max potential
I just tested creator ready driver on one of my scene with GTX 1070, there is a %3.5~ improvement. I wonder if it improves Eevee renders or viewport performance etc. Also I’ll check in the upcoming days if it has any disadvantage with games.
Where on earth are you getting that list from? You’ve listed a whole slew of graphics cards that I cannot find in that PDF.
Those 3 percents add up!
Huh, they have apparently changed supported models to 1xxx+.
I can’t find creation ready drivers for GTX 780M card on the NVIDIA Drivers page.
Ur list includes this card.
EDIT:
Just saw ur post they changed the supported models.
Kepler and maxwell no longer supported by the creators driver update
SO no 980m support after all.
that’s no fun.
