Objects left behind when posing

Alright so I’m following this tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DS885Sk1gSs&list=PLEl62BY-gqZT2xAwV43uPnBCvv15p6f7e&index=20 , but trying to rig my own model which isnt exactly perfectly human so I have to adapt a bit. It went fine up to the ‘attaching your model to the rig’ bit. only like, 70% of the objects in my model actually attached, a bunch of the others just didnt for whatever reason. How can I fix this?

^theres a picture showing which parts are attached and which arent. as one might expect the non-humanoid parts dont get attached (tail and wings), but also some other random bits failed to attach, like the articulate toe armor and the right armguard (but not the left armguard)

HI, without seen your file it’s hard to tell, but if you have a character with a tail you need to have a tail bones to parent to and the same with the wings. the other parts that connect to the limbs you need to select individually and parent to bone.
Here is a good tutorial: https://youtu.be/ERAScO1s8Zk

I did add bones for the tails and wings but since I have no idea what I’m doing it is very likely I did it wrong. I selected everything and parented it to the rig with automatic weights, as the tutorial said. I will try selecting them individually and using bone now.

update: they do move with the model now but still dont properly move with the bones when I try to pose them.

Alright well I watched the tutorial, I basically just ended up with the exact same skeleton I already had and no new ways to attach it. Now it just randomly moves all sorts of parts all over the place if I move any part of the skeleton, heres what happens when I try to rotate the left arm (and only the left arm): https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/671052188201517066/841557439689654276/unknown.png

I do not have even the slightest, most basic of comprehensions of why moving the left shoulder around makes the scales, forearm guard of the right arm, plasma gun, and the casing of the whip but not the whip itself also move.

I have uploaded the FUBAR version of it here; https://filebin.net/8rb09o3mgdvdo2ri , the original version doesnt really even have the skeleton so it wouldnt be of much use. If anyone can figure out how to make the skeleton not randomly move half the parts of the model, that would be greatly appreciated. Otherwise imma just have to leave everything I make in an A-pose perpetually.
edit: correction, I am uploading it. its not done yet. probably will be like another fifteen minutes or so.
edit: ok its done now

Hi, the problem is with your mesh its too dense look at the screenshot there are over 1.7k vertices:

I also discovered that you have created multiply armatures that will not work, it all needs to be as one armature.

Watch at 3:50 he is using the same rig leg to duplicate the extra legs.
