Ocean material inside a sphere

Greetings !
I’m trying to apply a material to my ocean inside an interior world, so basically a sphere. I tried several suggestions here : Has anyone made a good Ocean bump map? - #13 by oaschwab
But I’m getting these weird hexagons. (see pics below)
Am I messing up with my nodes setup or is it caused by the sphere’s geometry ? (UVsphere)

I’d guess it to be the interaction of generated texture coords with live modifiers used to create the mesh. Try using object coords instead for both the noise and the musgrave, and remap those coordinates as necessary.

Changing the coords didn’t help so I switched to an icosphere and the problem went away.
Rendering now to check if all is good.
