Ogre head and body

Hello everybody, I started a new model and I’d like to share the progress of this model with the community dor feedback and comments. The ogre was sketched with Sculptris and the retopologized in Blender with Bsurfaces, but there is a lot of work to do !
I hope you like it.

It looks really good, different, has personality.

Nice work  Love the style of the character  The only thing is that I find the he is leaning forward a little too much, looks very un-natural.

Happy Blending

I modified the topology and added the hands. With some bones I tried some poses, just for fun and for opening the mouth to pose the teeth.

Keep on completing the model, wich now is unwrapped, with corneas, teeth and new poses because is so fun to play with bones and shapes!
Next step high resolution details and texture mapping.

finally a major update for this model after a long time, color textures with gimp, some detail via multires modifier and all rendered with cycles, but there is a lot to do. Comments and critics are very welcome, hope you like it.

Woah, great model and texture. I want to hug him

Hello everybody, a long time is passed since the last update!
In this time I worked on the armor and on some war props.
I think the model is quite complete, even bacause it’s becoming a too long project!
Comments and critics are always welcome, hope you like it!

The metal looks like a bit like burnt wood and has lots of bumpy texture on it.
I think metal like this would fit better, just add some scratches, dents and cartoon it up a bit. Just my 2 cents.

Cory2077 thanks for the comment, your two cents are very welcome.

I hink that the shader is better now, certainly it need more work to became more realistic, but I don’t think I have the patience to spend more time on this material. See you for ne next up.
