Hi…i making a bottle and im not sure how to model an old fashioned bottle cap any help would be nice.

Here is one way. Start building from Cylinder Object. Image below, cylinder was made quite flat; .3 depth. Remove top cap polygons. Extrude and Scale to form rough cap shape. In my case I beveled the bottom edge as well. Now select every other vertex at the top edge and just scale it down to form that crimped cap edge form. Finally add Subsurf Modifier and set it smooth for render.
