I really like the style of the logo, and the cloudy aspect, but the grass could be a bit thicker. Also some of the materials could use some work (As you said), but the green clouds in the background are pretty cool.

the green cloud if from the wall being to “wet” and the bumbmap
Thanks for the comment…

no more comments?? =(…well i guess it did post this at like 9pm…

Looking cool but the blender logo looks like it’s floating probably should be put a little down or it might just be me i don’t know anyways looks cool.

its sitting on the plane…
thanks for the comment =)

I like it…kind of…old school!
(duh)

=)…its the first blender log i made…all i did was start with a cube…and took the top left edge…and used the ctrl+left like…to make it. =)

thanks for the comment

I like it, the eerieness captured in the grass blades, and sky and logo reflections.

Just because its sitting on the plane in your 3d viewport doesn’t mean its going to look like its sitting on a plane in your render. Welcome to the world of 3d. If it was so easy that we could say, “I know it looks like its floating, but its on the plane” then there wouldn’t be a such thing called exageration when dealing with animation, and there would be even less need to use any post pro effects.

Join the rest of the club. Exagerate a bit. Drag that bad boy down thru the plane until it looks like its sitting on the ground in the render. The render is whats important. We don’t see your 3d view port when we go to the studio to buy your art work…but we sure as hell see that blender logo floating when it should be sitting on the ground.

Don’t take this as an agreement that I think its floating. I think it looks fine as is. This post was just to let you know - just because something is…doesn’t mean it looks like it is. And looks are what’s important here. Otherwise your render wouldn’t be a 3d visualization of whats in your head.
