One click crease to seams

Is ther any way to automatically make edges with creases have seams in a click?

This thought came to me when I imported a MoI3d obj and it had seams at edges that having seams will be best. I know this can be achievable if ther is a way to see what data edges hold (in this case crease data) and automatically assign a seam to it. Am don’t know python but i recently watched a blender beginner python crash course and am really interested in learning it now. Am more of a learn by doing rather than studying guy so I need help from experienced addon developers.

crease = bm.edges.layers.crease.verify()

for e in bm.edges:    
    if e[crease]:
        e.seam = True
