It looks really good for a first piece, nice simple and well modelled. Just wondering, the slightly blocky look on the body of the pen was that deliberate? I know some pens have that. The one thing that strikes me as slightly strange though is the shadow of the pen, the metal bit in the middle seems to have two strips of light that show on the shadow. It could be that those parts are not joined correctly on the pen model causing gaps to appear. It’s a small crit and not too much to worry about you’ve made a great start with this, keep it up. looks good, but you should click ‘set smooth’ then ‘auto smooth’ to take out those facets.
