One Ref Character Sculpt

Ok. So for some reason I can’t edit my 9 days old post or this character I put under the ‘Works In Progress’ category or maybe I don’t remember how to edit it but since it can be classified as a finished project, I decided to put it here. I refined the sculpt not too long after I created these post (maybe the next day) but for some reason I didn’t post it. I just created a new render yesterday so let me know your thoughts on the render.

It’s a 3D sculpt created entirely in Blender based on an image I found on Art Station by Sara Wavreille. I call it One Ref since I used one image (from one angle)of the character as a reference. Something I don’t like doing.

Very nicely done! Thanks for sharing!

If I could make one request, it would be to add just a bit more light to the subject. In the ref-image I can clearly see the slightly upturned mouth-corners. In your render, I thought these were missing until I hit the expand-image button and leaned way in to look closely. Maybe this is a combination of dark-room viewing late at night + old eyes… but I think more light might help us to better appreciate your work here.

Oh. Yeah. I created a render that was more similar to the ref but changed it to this one. This is the previous render.

Thanks for the feedback.
